When therapists and practice owners Elisa and Caleb Mitchell reached out for help with their counseling practice in Phoenix, I knew I was all in!
The 1916 home had been turned into a birthing center over the past few years and needed a major revamp to get it up and ready to function as a therapy practice. The owners purchased the property knowing it had limitless potential and loads of character. The only problem was that they weren’t sure A. how to execute that potential and B. how they would have time to complete the project without having to shut the business down for months.
Through about two months of virtual consulting, we had a plan for the space! We did Facetime walk throughs, vision boards, and lots of back and forth on measurements and even trying to paint match from afar.
Once everything was ordered and the closing date as scheduled, we made plans for me to come out to Phoenix for a week.
During my time in Phoenix, we got rid of old furniture, built new furniture, staged shelves, purchased and potted plants, hung things on the walls, and had the practice open and running within days!
This project still goes down in history for me as one of my top favs for two reasons: 1. Therapists make THE very best clients. 2. I LOVE being a part of a space that gives back to so many on a daily basis.
I firmly believe that our space affects us internally and what more important of space to have a positive effect than your therapy practice?
Check out a few more detail shots from this beautiful practice!
Here’s a few words from my kind client regarding the project and our time together:
“Michelle was professional and personable throughout our entire time working with her. She listened to our thoughts and ideas and helped us create a space that we love. I would highly recommend Michelle and would hire her again in a heartbeat!”- Elisa M. Business Owner and Operator
